Dolly was born in Pomona, CA. to Roy and Bessie Page. She was the last surviving of five siblings.
Dolly discovered a love and gift of art and music, which she followed throughout her life. Her passion for music lives on through her family.
On August 15, 1953, Dolly married William “Bill” Dittler. Little did she know that day would set her on a path to all 50 states! She was quite proud of this accomplishment. Dolly and Bill had 2 sons, Kerry and Brett. They were a handful, but the family thrived.
Dolly was a beloved member of First Presbyterian Bend. At 90, she “retired” from the choir. Her artistic hand can be seen in the mural she helped create.
Dolly was also a longtime member of P.E.O. Her sisters meant so much to her, as did the work they do to improve the lives of women!
Dolly died in Bend, Oregon, a city she loved and supported. Dolly gave generously of her time, energy, talent, and money. She wanted everyone to have enough. If she couldn’t help provide it, she would always be sending prayers.
Dolly is survived by her sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, various nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all.
